She also focused on the pre and post-operative management of patients undergoing cataract and refractive surgery.
In addition to her professional practice, she is dedicated to the service of others. She has been on numerous missions to underserved communities in the state of Texas, and has served as a volunteer at the George Observatory in College Station. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with friends and family.
Having worked as an ophthalmic assistant while in the military, Dr. Payan has been able to try all aspects of the optometry field and truly enjoys being a part of her patient’s lives. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to help people with their vision needs, and believes it is the most important aspect of their quality of life. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and traveling with her husband and two daughters. She also loves reading, watching movies and K-dramas.
